I know Julie already posted a picture of Space Shuttle Discovery, but I spent the day on the Indian River and thought I’d share a few of the pictures I took. I only wish I would have had a more impressive camera to use.

Awesome photo! The Indian river has got to be the best vantage point for the launches. Where do you put in? A lot of my usual avenues back in the preserve get closed off at launch time.

Well my parents live over in Port St. John so if we are going out on the river we usually put our boat in at Kennedy Point in Titusville or if need be the crappy little PSJ boat dock.

We cruise across the river to the flats to fish for redfish. During launch days you can only get so close before the guys with the airboats and guns come and chase you off. Still, you can get a pretty good view just sitting in the middle of the river.
