Kerry in Orlando…again.

Why didn’t someone tell me that John Kerry was in Orlando tonight at Barnett Park? I totally would have gone. Sure he’s not the most ideal choice, but he couldn’t be any worse than Mr. Bush. For those of you that think Kerry is a horrible, traitorious monster that hates America, please try and watch Going Upriver with an open mind. This guy has a good heart, and despite some political faux paus I believe that he wants to improve America more than the other guy. For a free online copy go here.

And, if you are voting for the other guy then God bless ya’, at least you are getting involved.

Oh boy! I didn’t have the link to where you can load a topic on the board here, so I couldn’t write about where Kerry was. I even called the Dem Party location in Orlando and got 6 different places around Orlando to where you could have gotten tickets. Sorry I wish I could have posted it. I didn’t get there either, but I did watch what he had to say on Channel 13 who broadcasted it live. Kerry also showed up and 1hr and half earlier that I was told by the office when he would speak. Atleast they didn’t have to wait long.

Not wanting to start something here, but I don’t EVER recall hearing (or reading…until now) such characterizations of Kerry as “horrible” or “traitor” or “monster that hates America”.

Just my humble opinion, but I think you persuade people by appealing to their sense of fairness and logic, not victimizing a candidate. No one wants a victim for a President.

Ann Coulter and some of her constituents have said, and I quote, “..Liberals hate America.” Since Kerry is seen as a liberal in their eyes this can be attributed to him.

I’ve heard every Tom, Dick, and Harry Bush supporter call him a horrible choice for president.

And anyone who watches or hears Republicans and/or pro-Bush people talk about Kerry in regards to his Vietnam record and post-Vietnam activites has heard him labeled a traitor.

I’m not saying he’s an angel, and I’m not saying that every pro-Bush person has said this stuff, but just because you haven’t heard it, read it, or have seen it doesn’t mean it isn’t so.

These are just my personal observations on what I’ve heard people say about the man. I guess I’m just eavesdropping on a lower class of Republican.
