Jeb and his Berry.

Governor Jeb Bush unveiled his portrait at the governor’s mansion in which he included his Blackberry painted in right next to the portrait of his family. There’s nothing wrong with this, yet there’s something not wholly right either.

Oh my! Wow. Next we will have the president in 2030 painted next to his space car. HA!

Product placement has expanded from movies and TV to still art. Look for Treo to be demanding a 2nd painting. :)

I think it’s kinda cool. I mean, yes it seems a little weird at first, but how many pics of presidents and such do we have holding quills and rolls of paper? That would have been what they were using at the time. He’s in a modern suit as well, not some old fashioned vest waistcoat kind of thing. If it truly is something he uses all the time then it should be in the picture really. Plus according to the article on the link there was a specific reason for it being there. It could always be worse – he could be holding it up and pointing to it. ;)

And at least he doesn’t think “The Google” is a series of tubes….
