Good ol’ Southern Justice:..

Neighbors Beat Man After Wild ATV Ride With Child

A group of neighbors in a Seminole County, Fla., neighborhood captured and then beat a man who allegedly took a 5-year-old on a drunken ATV ride, according to police.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said a man crashed his ATV near state Road 46 and Upsala Road in Sanford, Fla., Sunday night. Witnesses said the man was allegedly driving the vehicle drunk with the child on board. After the crash, several neighbors held the man and then beat him until police arrived. The man was transported to the Seminole County Jail. It is not known if any of the neighbors involved in the beating will be charged. The child was not injured in the crash.

No doubt the man is going to try and sue some of those that gave him the beat down. Did two wrongs make a right in this situation?

First off let me just say as a person who did see what happened, the parents may not have known this person but the ATV had been rode all day by family members at the party, the aunt was riding the ATV and put a child on the ATV behind her and the alleged drunk guy told her she needed to put the child in front of her for safety, does this sound like a drunk I think not. The 4 or 5 yr old was all the way down the road without a parent in sight, he had no shoes no socks no shirt. Also if the parents were paying attention maybe they would have seen that the child was no where in sight and they could have stopped this from happening, if the alleged drunk guy took the child without the parents knowing then how come he brought the child to the parents after the accident and the parent (mother) said he was fine everything was ok, and the other parent said just get out of here. This does not sound like a parent who was watching the child that they seem to be so worried about. There is alot more to this story then what the parents are saying maybe if someone did some investigating they would find some actual facts.
