Are You Out There?

I’ve been noticing that the majority of comments made on the posts here are from those of us who are authors on the site. I want to believe that we’re not the only ones who read the posts…

So, please do me a favor.

For those of you who come here regularly [or not] and read what’s put up here — uncloak and let us hear from you. Let’s have all of you de-lurk for a while and just send us a comment on this post. You don’t have to divulge anything, just give us a shout-out.

Thanks! OK — it’s mostly for me, but I’m pretty sure Solonor whines about it when he thinks no one is listening.

    I check in here from time to time to see if anything’s up that I don’t know about. In fact, after seeing a post on here about a cool national organization (Drinking Liberally - http://www.drinkingliberally.org) I helped start an Orlando chapter of the organization.

    I was looking for some info on some attraction in Washington DC, and I stumbled across the DC metroblog. So I changed the URL to Orlando, and voila, rock my like a hurricane.

    I’m a former Orlando resident, finishing up school next week at the University of Oklahoma (they’re letting me graduate! It’s a miracle!) and moving back in June to MetroWest.

    I have a friend who writes for the Dallas metblog, so I stumbled on it through them.

    Okay….I am late but I got here from “blogging.la” and their hilarious coverage (specifically Sean Bonner’s) of the Star Wars line at Graumann’s. I thought it would be cool to see the blogging going on in my own “metro” area. So here I am.

    Thanks for the invite to speak up. One never knows when “outsiders” are welcome to just jump right in. =D
