Too Sick For Popcorn Flicks

Does anybody else get sick when the cold weather arrives in Florida? Because I do. This year has been no exception. In the last 24 hours, I have come down with an incredibly nasty sinus infection. Le tragedy!

I’m especially sad about this particular illness because I was forced to miss tonight’s Popcorn Flick in the park. For those of you who don’t know, the Enzian Theater screens a classic movie in Central Park on Park Avenue once a month. Tonight, it was Gremlins. GREMLINS! Needless to say, I really wanted to go. I’ve never been to a Popcorn Flick before because my work schedule always conflicted with it. I would’ve even braved the cold weather!

Hopefully, I’ll be healthy when they screen Roman Holiday in 3 months.

Yeah, the onset of cold weather brought a few days of sinus problems to me as well. As soon as I felt that lickle tickle in my throat, I popped some sinus meds along with my usual vitamin.

Fortunately mine was just a slight annoyance, rather than a full-blown infection likes yours.

Hope you’re feeling better soon. And remind us in 3 months when the next one takes place, some of us might like to go see it.

I had no idea they even did this in Winter Park, thanks for the heads up.
