Halloween Plans

What’s everyone doing to get ready for Halloween? It’s my favorite holiday and I go absolutely nuts coming up with costumes every year. This year’s costume is no exception. I spent last night trolling the thrift stores for costume pieces. Came up unsuccessful, but I might have some good leads on Ebay.

Do you usually go out on Halloween? If so, where?

I love… looooove Halloween. My mom;s house is decorated and with the weather a little cooler, it feels like it. I havent dressed up since I was a teenager. I last dressed up as a car accident victim and had fake blood, scars and even a broken leg with crutches too. Sick humor you have when your in high school. I have no plans this year. I would like to go to Halloween Horror Nights, I have never been, but hear every year its great, but it’s so crowded you can only go in 2-3 of the rides they have all decked out, cause of long lines. Oh well. I hope to be in a bigger place next year so I can have a Halloween party. :0)

I miss Halloween Horror Nights! I was in it last year, but seeing how I’m in the Memphis area now, we thought it would be quite a commute this time around. ;) We were planning on coming down, but it doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen. :( I think we’re going to put up indoor and outdoor Hallowe’en decorations as usual, but I’m going to get pictures of Shrub’s head, print them out on cardstock, and tape them to the heads of our scarecrows, Frankenstein’s Monsters, etc. *snicker*

Jen–that is so weird. “Accident victim” was my last costume in high school, too. Mine wasn’t nearly as cool as yours sounds, though.
