Hurricane Fun:

Obviously, hurricanes are not fun, but what we do as we wait for it to be over should be, particularly in the eyes of children.

Think about the pressure we go through as an adult, watching something this huge moving forward, knowing the dangers it brings, and knowing there

    We must be close cause Lk Underhill isn’t far from me either. I think I’ve read every one of my son’s favorite books about ten times this morning. In a few minutes it’ll be sticker time!

    You guys are excellent moms.

    As a dad, I would just lock the kids in a closet for the duration and let them out in order to help clean up the mess.

    Well, we do have the infamous ‘room under the stairs’, all ready with a matress and some sheets, a flashlight and the Harry Potter series. Yes, I know it’s a little to much to read over a few hours, but my kids and I just *had* to stay with the theme. hehehee
