I’m in western Orange county (Ocoee) and while we’ve had moments of nasty weather, its still and quite calm … for now. I’m officially sick of watching the coverage on TV and I’ve become far more familiar with my local weather ‘heros’ than I ever hoped to be. Now when I say “Tom”, everyone in my family knows that I’m speaking of Tom Terry on our ABE affiliate. “Well Tom said that the eye is going to take 4 hours to pass over us….”

That’s a sad commentary.

Well I plan to sleep with the TV on and the remoted glued in my hand. Did I say sleep?? I think doze would be more appropriate. We are all camping out in the living room round the big TV. The kids love it.
